Se conocían todos entre sí de la escena local de Bristol, Inglaterra y se reunieron después de la desaparición de sus anteriores bandas, que casualmente pasó a la misma hora. El objetivo de la banda fue convertirse en la banda mas loca y brutal que a pisado la escena de bristol.

Sus influencias incluyen bandas como Nunslaughter, Goreotted, Exhumed, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse — Pero entre mas y mas fueron ganando experiencia fue aumentando la presencia de bandas mas brutales como Lividity, Devourment, Vaginal Jesus, Disgorge. También a partir de que surgió la presencia de la naturaleza anti-PC que era para complementar las actuaciones agresivas en directo.

Después de varios meses de problemas del Line-up se decidió continuar como un cuarteto. Durante este tiempo el primer ‘demo’ se grabó y tocó el primer concierto. El «demo» titulado ‘Up to Our Nuts in Guts’ provocó un gran revuelo entre los fans del metal local y llevó a que le abrieran a Necrophagia y Exmortem, donde se desató la furia del espectáculo en vivo por una multitud desprevenida. Varios meses después, siendo la banda de apoyo de Desecration encontraron al «Des» Mainman Ollie Jones - segundo guitarrista.

En mi punto de vista el estilo es muy bueno, las rolas que más me gustan son Skinned and Fucked, Copremesis, Intercranial Semen Injection del albúm Surpassing The Boundaries Of Human Suffering. El ritmo de Ingested es muy brutal dado el hecho de que usan doble pedal en la batería haciendo un sonido de maquinas industriales reventando instrumentos musicales. Y los riffs de las guitarras diseñados para arrancarte la tímpanos y comérselos al momento en el que inicia cada rola. En el nuevo EP Revered by No-One, Feared by All combinan el sonido del slam brutal death con el deathcore haciendoló más brutal. Hay muchos a los que no les gusta el deathcore pero esta combinación es muy buena se las recominedo.

Abominable Putridity was formed in 2002 by Alexander and Pavel. After a year had passed, the vocalist, Vladimir, joined the band, and in 2004, Andrey K., the former bassist of Vermicular Decay, joined Abominable Putridity. In 2006, the band recorded their first demo, which was released in the month of May, 2002. Vladimir left the band five months later, and was replaced by Cameron Argon. Abominable Putridity performed for several small gigs and metal festivals in the Moscow region; in one of those gigs, the band met Jim of Lacerated Enemy Records, who offered them their first record contract. During the recording sessions, Argon left the band and was temporarily replaced by Andrey. The first full-length album to be published by Lacerated Enemy Records was called, In The End Of Human Existence(2007). In January 2009, vocalist Matti Way (who is also the current vocalist of Pathology and the former vocalist of Disgorge, Cinerary and Liturgy) joined the band. The band signed with the label Brutal Bands in 2011, recording a 3 tracks demo simply called as Promotional CD 2011. In 2012, Abominable Putridity released their second album, The Anomalies of Artificial Origin.
